- Keiki Coding introduces STEM through Scratch’s block-based coding platform, fostering problem-solving and critical thinking as students create interactive games and stories.
- Keiki Drawing explores the fundamentals of art and art history, helping young artists develop their creative style and sharpen their observation skills.
- Keiki Animation teaches storyboarding, character design, and animation techniques, empowering students to turn their ideas into animated short films.

Important Information:
- Space is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A waitlist will be available once classes are full.
- Unless otherwise noted, classes are 1.5 hours long.
- Unless otherwise noted, Price per class hour: $23 (per-class options available).
- Classes are open to all experience levels, designed for ages 7–12 and 10 and up, with exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.
Keiki Coding After School Enrichment!
Keiki Coding introduces kids to the fundamentals of coding through Scratch, an engaging and beginner-friendly coding platform developed by MIT. Keiki Coding classes are built around a unique, place-based curriculum and learning materials created and developed by Twiddle to make coding meaningful and relatable for keiki in Hawaiʻi.
Educational Highlights & Learning Skills:

Educational Highlights & Learning Skills:
- Core Coding Skills: Students will build a solid foundation using Scratch’s block-based coding system, mastering key concepts like loops, sequences, variables, and randomization. These concepts will empower students to create interactive projects, develop problem-solving abilities, and gain debugging skills.
- Game Design, Storytelling & Problem-Solving: Students will combine creativity and technical skills to design interactive projects, using coding to bring their ideas to life. Through this process, they’ll enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, applying logic and strategies to overcome challenges and create functional projects.
- Hands-On Learning: Guided by industry professionals, students gain real-world experience in coding.
- Celebration of Success: At the end of each semester, families are invited to a Keiki Coding Celebration, where students showcase their projects and receive certificates highlighting their achievements in creativity, technical skills, and teamwork.

Keiki Drawing!
For ages 7 and up Our Keiki Drawing program turns up the fun factor while inspiring your child's creativity. This class is all about learning how to see the world in shapes, and turning those shapes into amazing drawings! We also put extra emphasis on finding and creating one's own drawing style and building confidence through art. Wednesdays: 01/15 - 04/23 2025 4pm-5:30 pm HST 90 minutes Only 7 spots available! (no classes on 03/26 and 04/02 2025) This is hybrid in person and online class. Please note: Online students are required to have cameras and audio on during class time. *Classes held at the Twiddle Productions Inc studio.

Keiki Animation!
For ages 10 and up In our Keiki Animation class, students will learn the ins and outs of animation and production. This class covers assignments such as story development, character design, and storyboarding and culminates in the creation of students animated short story! Fridays: 01/17 - 04/25 2025 4pm-5:30 pm HST 90 minutes Only 7 spots available! (no classes on 03/28 and 04/04 2025) This is hybrid in person and online class. Please note: Online students are required to have cameras and audio on during class time. *Classes held at the Twiddle Productions Inc studio.
